MVS
Methodology

How MVS compares

A trust page. Detailed but not overloaded.

1

Exact product identification

MVS compares exact products and variants — not brands. An "MVS vs NORSAN" is only meaningful when the exact product variant, pack size and daily serving are defined.

2

Product/variant selection & market

Each comparison refers to a defined market (e.g. DE) and a concrete product variant. Different variants of the same brand are not mixed.

3

Serving-size normalisation

Values are referenced to a comparable daily serving. Oil amount alone is not comparable; the active omega-3 amount per serving is decisive.

4

Reference basis

Every value has a reference basis: per capsule, per daily serving, raw fish oil, finished capsule, batch-specific, current pack price. Reference basis and source are separate concepts.

5

Source hierarchy

MVS weights sources: batch-specific COA > laboratory certificate > manufacturer declaration > public source. Manufacturer declarations and independent evidence are different evidence types.

6

Missing information treatment

"Not publicly disclosed" does not mean "not present". Missing data is presented neutrally and not converted into a negative quality judgement.

7

Calculation rules

Concentration = total omega-3 / oil amount. Price per 1,000 mg omega-3 = pack price / (total omega-3 per pack / 1,000). Calculations are stated traceably.

8

Comparison limitations

Batch-specific values apply to that batch. Different reference bases can make values not directly comparable. This is disclosed.

9

Review & update process

Data is reviewed regularly. Changes are documented in the change log. Corrections can be submitted by visitors.

10

Commercial transparency

MVS is a pharmaceutical company. MVS products have a purchase link to Odoo. Competitor products are presented neutrally and informationally.

11

Neutral wording

MVS does not use terms like "best", "superior" or "test winner" unless explicitly approved. The decision lies with the visitor.
