The MVS Quality Standard
The MVS Quality Standard defines the minimum requirements an omega-3 product must meet to be considered transparent and traceable. It is independent of the methodology and describes the standard itself.
Pillars of the standard
Identification
Exact product and variant identification incl. pack size.
Molecular form
Disclosure of bioavailability form (rTG, EE, PL).
Concentration
Omega-3 share in oil and per serving.
Purification
Disclosure of the purification process.
Evidence
At least one verifiable source per core value.
Currency
Last review documented and traceable.
Distinction from methodology
The methodology describes HOW comparison works. The quality standard describes WHAT makes a product transparent. Both are documented separately.
