Bottle, blister or sachet — what protects omega-3 better?

Direct answer

The less often the oil comes into contact with air after first opening, the more slowly the oxidation state rises. An individually sealed portion is opened exactly once and then fully consumed.

The packaging determines how often the oil is exposed to ambient air.

The difference lies in handling

A bottle is opened as many times as portions are taken. At two portions a day that is a double exposure — every day.

Packaging formats compared

Bottleopened at every use, remaining volume partly filled
Blisterindividual capsules removable, the rest stays protected
Sachetsealed until use, then fully consumed

The MVS quality chain

Select, process, verify, protect — as one continuous chain.

01

Select

Raw material, origin and specification are defined and documented before processing.

02

Process

Concentration, molecular form and purification steps determine the later quality.

03

Verify

Analytics on the finished product — not only a certificate for the raw material.

04

Protect

Capsule, packaging and portioning protect the oil until it is taken.

What applies regardless

Regardless of the format: store cool, dry and dark. Light and heat accelerate degradation in any packaging.

The MVS choice

MVS seals portions individually so that protection is maintained until consumption.
